Step into a night of mystery and adventure at the Discovery Center of Idaho! Join us on Thursday, September 26, from 6–10 PM for a 21+ Adult Night: Murder Mystery presented with Watson’s Mystery Café & Spirits.
Travel through different eras and uncover clues from colorful witnesses tied to land, sea, and sky. Piece together the story one stop at a time in this interactive evening of history, science, and intrigue.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Lost Grove Brewing, My Thai Food Truck, and The Rusty Dog. A portion of proceeds supports STEM and art programming at the Discovery Center.

Join us for our first-annual Cheers for Change event located at the Family Advocates office! We are partnering with six local wineries and breweries, as well as 94.9 The River to turn our parking lot into a pop-up party on Friday, September 26, 2025.
Wristbands will be $30 and includes admission to the event, two free raffle tickets, unlimited tastings, and a special gift from Family Advocates! While you're here, enjoy food from Tango's Empanadas Food Truck. This is an event you won't want to miss.
Proceeds earned from this event will directly benefit Family Advocates' mission in supporting the children and families of this community. Please note this event is 21+.

Join us for WalkAbout Boise — a 1.5-hour guided walking tour through 150 years of history and architecture. Let us introduce you to the built environment that makes downtown Boise like no other place. This tour is great for visitors and for Idaho residents who want to learn more about how Boise's vibrant downtown developed and the people who made it happen. *Please register online or by phone. We meet at the bench in front of the Basque Museum. These walking tours will be held rain or shine, so please plan and dress accordingly with comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, an umbrella if needed for sun or rain, and a bottle of water. They will start promptly at 10 am and end around 11:30 pm, beginning and ending in front of the Basque Museum on Grove Street downtown Boise. Walking Tour highlights include: -Downtown's evolution from gold rush boomtown, through urban renewal decline, and 21st century revitalization -The oldest and newest buildings downtown, spanning 150 years of construction -Buildings associated with Boise’s historic Basque, German, Jewish, and Chinese communities -The Idaho State Capitol and Boise City Hall -Buildings designed by early pioneers and nationally known master architects -The Egyptian Theater

A special night for families with neurodivergent and other special needs. This is an evening not open to the general public, with limited attendance in order to create a quieter and calmer atmosphere. Go Therapy dogs will be there, and noise cancelation headphones and weighted vests are available. The cost is $8 per person and members are free. The food truck will be serving awesome brunch foods, Phoenix Fire will bring a bunch of awesome games to play for free, and of course Meriwether will be pouring the good stuff!!If you're not a games person, no worries! You're welcome to come and just enjoy the food and cider!
