Calling all history buffs! Join us for a fun trivia night at the Dick Eardley Senior Center in commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary. Test your knowledge of Idaho history and the American Revolution while connecting with your community over dinner and a no-host bar.
This event is presented by the City of Boise, Idaho State Museum, and Idaho Public Television.

Join us for WalkAbout Boise — a 1.5-hour guided walking tour through 150 years of history and architecture. Let us introduce you to the built environment that makes downtown Boise like no other place. This tour is great for visitors and for Idaho residents who want to learn more about how Boise's vibrant downtown developed and the people who made it happen. *Please register online or by phone. We meet at the bench in front of the Basque Museum. These walking tours will be held rain or shine, so please plan and dress accordingly with comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, an umbrella if needed for sun or rain, and a bottle of water. They will start promptly at 10 am and end around 11:30 pm, beginning and ending in front of the Basque Museum on Grove Street downtown Boise. Walking Tour highlights include: -Downtown's evolution from gold rush boomtown, through urban renewal decline, and 21st century revitalization -The oldest and newest buildings downtown, spanning 150 years of construction -Buildings associated with Boise’s historic Basque, German, Jewish, and Chinese communities -The Idaho State Capitol and Boise City Hall -Buildings designed by early pioneers and nationally known master architects -The Egyptian Theater
Enjoy delicious food and refreshing wine at our spring auction and raffle.
Attendees will have a chance to win packages for gardening, destinations, local entertainment and more! There will be a live auction to win a Hemmingway dinner for 14. Snacks and beverages will be provided by Cinder Winery. The event will be emceed by comedian and motivational speaker Janelle Anderson.
All proceeds go towards Writers at Harriman, a non-profit camp that gives students an opportunity to learn from experienced authors. Donations help support student scholarships, allowing many teens to spend a week out in East Idaho.

Boise Rotary invites the community to its annual Sip ‘n Frolic event — a laid-back,social evening supporting local and global service projects. The event includes five beer tastings, live music by local singer-songwriter Olivia Frost, and a silent auction(beginning at 6 p.m.). Tickets are $25.
Proceeds support:-Clean water projects in Belén, Guatemala in partnership with Engineers Without Borders-Playground equipment for the Boise School District Early Childhood Learning Center
The fundraising goal for the event is $20,000.
