Updated 1:00 p.m.: Students at Boise High have been allowed back in after a bomb threat was received earlier this morning. Classes will resume this afternoon after police used bomb sniffing dogs to check student bags.
The all-clear has been given to Kuna High School students, where classes have resumed.
Original Post: The Boise Public School district reported that a bomb threat was received at Boise High School at 10:50 Thursday morning.
The district says all students have been evacuated and parents can pick up their children with a valid ID.

Dear Boise High Parent/Guardian: This is to notify you that a bomb threat was received by Boise High School at approximately 10:50 a.m. this morning, Thursday, April 11, 2013. We immediately implemented our safety and security procedures and contacted Boise Police. All students have been safely evacuated to the school's football field. If you wish, you may pick up your student by bringing proper identification to the 13th Street side of the football field, next to the tennis courts to sign out your student with the proper Boise High School administrator. Classes may or may not resume but all students will be supervised by building administration. Any students who are picked up by parents/guardians will be given an excused absence. Again, all students and staff members have been safely evacuated and we are working with Boise Police to determine who is responsible for making this bomb threat. Another bomb threat was made at Kuna High School at approximately the same time, according to local media reports. KBOI reports students and staff have been safely evacuated from both schools.
KTVB reports Kuna School District assistant superintendent Wendy Johnson says "the district is treating the threat similarly to a fire drill, and has not issued any instructions to parents."
Ada County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Andrea Dearden says Kuna Police and Ada County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating the threat. "Kuna High is being thoroughly searched now for any possible threat," Dearden said. "Once areas in and around the school are determined to be safe, school administrators say classes will resume." - KTVB
