U of I Leadership Tour

University of Idaho President Duane Nellis says the lagging economy has hit his school hard. Budget cuts and tuition increases are challenging the Moscow institution. But Nellis says the economy will turn around, bringing new opportunities to Idaho. This week, he’s on a Statewide Leadership Tour, traveling, talking, and listening to what people have to say about the U of I. He stopped by Boise State Public Radio and told Samantha Wright the University has lost 20-million dollars in state funding in the past two years.

As Senior Producer of our live daily talk show Idaho Matters, I’m able to indulge my love of storytelling and share all kinds of information (I was probably a Town Crier in a past life). My career has allowed me to learn something new everyday and to share that knowledge with all my friends on the radio.
