City Hall Facelift Means Statehouse Meetings

BOISE, ID. – Upcoming construction at Boise’s City Hall will mean some changes in the coming months.  Rob Bousfield, an assistant city engineer, says evening City Council, planning, and other meetings will be moved “because the work is noisy and will have to happen at night.  And so we made arrangements with the state to hold those meetings over at the state capitol.”  Bousfield says city services will still be available during the day.  And locations of city offices will not change.  The multimillion dollar remodel will bring the building up to code. Construction begins in early December and will last about a year.
