BOISE, ID. – Groundbreaking for construction of the new Whole Foods Market in Boise gets underway Friday morning. The project will bring hundreds of jobs to the area. Rick Duggan is a partner in the development company that’s building the complex. He says, “Whole Foods is projecting they’ll have between 130 and 140 full time employees working at the store.” That’s on top of about 150 constructions jobs for the duration of the project. Duggan expects to be finished in about a year. Walgreen’s is part of the complex. They will also need workers once their store is open.
