Today marks the 29th annual Saint Alphonsus Festival of Trees. The tradition of decorating Christmas trees at the Boise Centre runs through Sunday. Funds raised from the Festival will support the expansion of Saint Al’s Regional Medical Center Emergency Department.
The holiday tradition has raised more than $7 million over the past 29 years to improve healthcare in the community. Along with the trees, there is breakfast with Santa, a fashion show, local dance groups, and a long list of choirs and musicians who perform during the five-day event.
