It was still dark when we showed up to Corner Bakery Cafe in Meridian a little before 7 a.m.

Our Events staff showed up even earlier to set up a welcoming table with bookmarks, travel mugs & other BSPR goods.

Thursday, October 29 marked the first installment of our "Morning Edition Coffee Break" event series. From 7 – 9 a.m. the Boise State Public Radio staff and news team gathered at Corner Bakery Cafe in Meridian for coffee and a chance to reach out and talk with listeners.

A big thank you goes out to Corner Bakery Cafe for hosting us, and to the listeners and members who attended. We heard tons of feedback on Morning Edition and other programming, recorded some listener testimonials and got to share the morning with many of our audience members.

The slideshow above paints a picture of the hot coffee, good food and casual conversation that was had by all. If you missed our first "Morning Edition Coffee Break" or weren't able to make it, don't worry. In the upcoming months, we'll be taking many more coffee breaks across the Treasure Valley. Stay tuned for dates and times.
