It’s almost that time of year, where you give out handfuls of candy to young trick or treaters. But what kind of candy is the most popular?

Turns out, Idaho’s number one Halloween candy is … candy corn. Apparently it’s a big hit according to CandyStore.com.

Yes, there is a place on the internet where you can buy pounds of candy for Halloween, or any other occasion. CandyStore.com has been around since 2007.

The company analyzed their data over the last eight years of sales, looking at trends and top orders. They found the #1 best-selling Halloween candy in each state. For Idaho, that’s candy corn, where we order 89,311 pounds of it, on average, each Halloween.

Number Two in Idaho is Starburst, at 54,363 pounds each October. Third runner up was Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, at 34,947 pounds.

If you are a candy corn fan, 10 pounds of the sweet stuff costs around $65.
