Major Downtown Boise Tenant CenturyLink Won’t Return After Pandemic

CenturyLink has an operation in the One Capital Center building in Downtown Boise. The company made a deal with the federal government over anti-monopoly practices.

CenturyLink will leave its high-profile office space in Downtown Boise, according to a spokesperson.

 

The phone and Internet provider operates a call center out of the One Capital Center building at 999 W. Main St. in Boise. The building currently has large CenturyLink logos along the skyline.

“Today, more than 75 percent of our people work virtually from their homes while continuing to serve and support customers and maintain our global network,” CenturyLink Corporate Communications manager Mark Molzen said. “After a lengthy discussion, we have decided to transition our people to work from home positions in Boise and Idaho Falls.”
