The 34th annual Hyde Street Park Fair is just around the corner. The two day music, art, and food fest will feature live music from Boise-based band Sherpa.

The five-member group stopped by our studios to play some of their original music they dub "funk-infused jam-rock".

Sherpa vocalist Christine Thomas says the Hyde Park Street Fair is one of her favorite places to perform, saying the festival has "the best energy".

Sherpa's album is called Roosevelt. They'll be performing live at the Hyde Park Street Fair on Sept. 14 at 7:00 p.m.

Sherpa's in-studio performance will be featured on Friday Sept. 6 during "Idaho Music" from 9:00-10:00 p.m. on KBSU 90.3 fm.
