Lori Vallow, the woman who was arrested in Hawaii last month over the disappearance of her two children, is set to appear in an Idaho courtroom Friday, March 6.
Vallow arrived back in Idaho on Thursday after she waived her extradition hearing in Hawaii last week.
At 2 p.m. Friday in Madison County, she’s scheduled to face charges, including two felony counts of desertion and nonsupport of children. Her kids, seven-year-old J.J. Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan have been missing since September.
In January, Vallow was court-ordered to bring the children before the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare — she failed to do so. She was arrested in Hawaii last month.
Vallow and her husband Chad Daybell, who has not faced any charges, are also connected to three suspicious deaths.
Meanwhile, the search for the missing children is now centering around Yellowstone National Park, where the children were seen with Vallow in early September. The Rexburg Police Department and the FBI are asking people who visited the park around that time to submit any photos or videos taken there to a special FBI website.
Correction: A previous version of this story stated Lori Vallow was due in court Thursday. It has since been corrected to say Friday, March 6.
