Boise State University will distribute a limited number of tickets to see President Barack Obama speak Wednesday on campus.
Obama will speak at the Caven-Williams Sports Complex, located next to Albertsons Stadium. Tickets for the event will be distributed Monday through the BSU ticket office at the football stadium, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tickets are free and required to attend the speech. The university says they’ll be distributed on a first- come, first-served basis, and each person will be given one ticket.
Boise State’s announcement does not say how many tickets will be handed out, or what time Wednesday the President will speak. On Wednesday, doors to the athletic complex open at noon.
Boise State will use a different system to allot tickets to students.
The Idaho Statesman reports Obama's speech will be live web-streamed here. The Statesman says Obama's Air Force One arrival and departure will be closed to the public.
Several university parking lots will close Tuesday night. Several streets near the sports complex will also be closed. Click here for details on parking restrictions.
