City Club Of Boise - 2021 Political Pundits Forum

The City Club of Boise heard from former legislators and pundits about the issues that will shape the 2021 Idaho session, and the challenges of governing in a global pandemic.

The forum heard from John Rusche, former House Minority Leader from District 6 representing Northern Idaho, and Brent Hill, former Senate President Pro Tempore from District 34 representing Eastern Idaho

Also, Melissa Davlin of Idaho Public Television, Betsy Russell of the Idaho Press and Dr. Stephanie Witt of Boise State University — who will discussed what's happened thus far in the session and the expected direction the legislature will take in the weeks to come.

The City Club of Boise has hosted this annual forum since the organization’s inception in 1995, bringing together citizens, community leaders, legislators, and a panel familiar with the Idaho legislative process to talk about what might happen during the legislative session.

I am a second-generation Idahoan and have worked for BSPR for nearly 25 years. You can hear me on-air as a weekday host on our news station and I oversee operational efforts for our program department. I created the award-winning documentary ‘I Used to Listen to KBSU: An Origin Story’ and I find great pride in helping news and music listeners across our vast broadcast region connect with information and the arts.
