Erik Jones

Program Director

I have worked for Boise State Public Radio for over 25 years and I am responsible for programming and operations. I have the privilege of working with our outstanding student operators, knowledgeable music hosts, and the talented team who create our midday talk show Idaho Matters. It brings me great joy to help news and music listeners, connect with news, information, culture and arts.

I’m the proud father of two wonderful daughters and I enjoy traveling with my family, gardening, bicycling and live music. Also, I have a never-ending list of home improvement projects to work on and every so often when I'm not exploring a National or State Park, in the high desert or at the Oregon Coast, I can be found renovating a 70-year-old camp trailer.
