Idaho Has One Of The Toughest Laws Against Female Genital Mutilation

You may not have heard about it, but last year a district court judge ruled that a federal law banning female genital mutilation (FGM) was unconstitutional. He said it’s up to the states to make laws about this cultural practice. And many of them are, including Idaho. We talk with Madelyn Beck of the Mountain West News Bureau about her new story on FGM.
