A Note About Programming Changes Beginning July 1

UPDATE July 2: We will air one hour of Science Friday each Friday afternoon beginning July 5. Here are the details.

ORIGINAL POST: Earlier this year, NPR announced they were no longer going to produce Talk of the Nation after June 25. Since that announcement was made, we've been looking at other programming options. We've given careful consideration about what to air on weekdays from noon until 2:00 p.m. After considering several options, we've decided to take an expanded version of Here and Nowbeginning July 1.

These programming changes also mean we will no longer air Science Friday on Friday afternoons from noon until 2:00 p.m. Science Friday will continue to produce shows, and you can find those episodes at its website.

Co-hosts Robin Young and Jeremy Hobson will deliver two hours of compelling news and cultural coverage designed to help bridge the gap between Morning Edition and All Things Considered.

Starting Monday, we'll air All Things Considered from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On Friday, ATC will air from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

These changes mean Fresh Air will move to its new time slot at 11:00 a.m.

We're looking forward to hearing your thoughts about the programming schedule on KBSX and how we can serve you better in the months ahead.

Thanks for the time you spend with Boise State Public Radio.
