UPDATE: Pass The Mic Is On Hold For Now

Out of an abundance of caution, Boise State Public Radio is putting this series on hold and cancelling all in-person events for the immediate future. Please watch this space for updates.

There’s an important voice that needs to be heard in this year’s ever-evolving political conversation: yours.

From now through Election Day, Boise State Public Radio News is starting a series called, “Pass the Mic.” We’ll be visiting some of the region’s most colorful coffee shops, pubs and meeting places to hear what you’re thinking about. We’re less concerned who you’ll be voting for and a lot more interested in what issues matter most to you. Education? Economy? Environment? Justice? Fairness? Security? You tell us.

CANCELLED: Friday, March 13 Morning Edition host George Prentice will be at Neckar Coffee in downtown Boise from 10-11:30 a.m. Come grab a cup of coffee and say hello! But don't expect to hear much from George — you're the voice we want to listen to.

Our Purpose: Be at the civic, cultural and intellectual forefront of our community to create an informed, engaged public.
