Massachusetts wants to buy coastal real estate prone to flooding

In Massachusetts, coastal real estate is becoming less attractive as climate change brings repeated flooding to those areas. To move more residents away from at-risk areas, governments sometimes offer cash for their properties.

WBUR’s Vivian La met one homeowner in Newburyport who took the deal.
