Boise was treated to a “secret show” at the Neurolux Monday night. Youth Lagoon, also known as Trevor Powers, kicked off his spring tour with an unofficial concert at the downtown venue.
Concert-goers heard about the show through a conspicuous clue posted on the booking group’s Facebook page. By the end of the evening, the floor was packed with fans happy to send the local musician off on his national tour. Powers will be back in Boise for Treefort Music Fest in March.
Youth Lagoon’s new sophomore album, Wondrous Bughouse, has been streaming online in advance of the March 5 release.

Youth Lagoon's spring tour includes a stop at Austin's SXSW Festival, Coachella, Sasquatch, as well as individual venues around the country. Powers will open for The National during a Brooklyn show in June.
