Opera Idaho Ready To Debut 'Madama Butterfly'

Opera Idaho

Opera Idaho is putting the finishing touches on its next big production: Puccini's classic "Madama Butterfly."

The opera will have one performance in the Sun Valley area at the Church of the Big Wood on Saturday, February 10 and then two performances at the Morrison Center in Boise on Friday, February 16 and Sunday, February 18.

The star-crossed lovers of "Madama Butterfly" will be performed by Vanessa Isiguen and Chaz'men Williams-Ali. They visited with Weekend Edition host George Prentice to talk about the upcoming performance.

You can learn more about the performance and how to get tickets at operaidaho.org.
