Business May Be Down, But Optimism Is Up At Boise's SpaceBar Arcade

Boise's SpaceBar Arcade survived being closed for six months as the pandemic ravaged many businesses, but revenue has not come close to recovering.

While some businesses have thrived during the pandemic, many have struggled — especially in the hospitality industry. One year ago, Boise's SpaceBar Arcade co-owner Will Hay said he wasn't sure how long he would last if he had to stay closed.

Now, Hay says business isn't even half of pre-pandemic levels, but his staff has stayed healthy and he's optimistic about what's to come.
