Should Idaho Expand Medicaid? A Discussion

Boise State Public Radio

Boise State Public Radio and HuffPost teamed up to present a conversation about Proposition 2 on Oct. 11, 2018. The event was part of HuffPost's 'Listen to America' tour.

The ballot initiative asks Idahoans to decide whether or not to expand Medicaid to folks who currently make too much money to qualify for the subsidized health care.

Voters will decide one way or another during the upcoming Nov. 6 election.

Panelists included Brian Whitlock, CEO of the Idaho Hospital Association; House Majority Caucus Chairman John Vander Woude; community member Donna Scranton; and HuffPost senior reporter Jonathan Cohn. The discussion was moderated by James Dawson of Boise State Public Radio.

Below you can listen to and watch the discussion in it's entirety.
