It’s the end of the third week of the Idaho Legislature. As legislators wrap up some housekeeping tasks that are necessary at the start of the session, bills are beginning to be introduced. And the next few weeks will see the bulk of the legislation for this session coming forward.
Boise State Political Science Professor Gary Moncrief tells our Samantha Wright about the transition at the statehouse from housekeeping to actually making laws.
Gary and Samantha Wright have a new podcast called “Legislative Breakdown.” We pick apart the Idaho Legislature each week to find out how it affects YOU -- and this week our special guest is the man who directs the staff behind the scenes at the Statehouse. Find “Legislative Breakdown” every Friday in iTunes, in the NPR One app and here.
