Harvard Group To Give Hackfort Talk On Cybersecurity And Elections

The Defending Digital Democracy Project will meet with Idaho elections officials while they're in Boise.

Last summer, a group at Harvard came together to try and solve the issue of cybersecurity and the American ballot box. The bipartisan group has spent the last several months researching vulnerabilities in state and local elections.

Friday at 4:00 p.m. in Boise, they’ll share what they’re learning at Hackfort – the technology offshoot of Treefort Music Fest. Frankie Barnhill spoke with Dan Bartlett, one of the researchers with the Defending Digital Democracy Project. Click "play" to hear their conversation below.
