City Club Of Boise: Education and Elections, A K-12 Roundtable

Ada County’s three school districts will go to the polls March 14 with ballot measures. There’s a lot at stake, for classrooms and communities.

During this forum you’ll hear from the superintendents — Boise’s Don Coberly, West Ada’s Mary Ann Ranells and Kuna’s Wendy Johnson — about what their districts hope to do with the money. You’ll also hear about the challenges facing Idaho K-12. Recruiting and retaining good teachers. Helping at-risk readers catch up with their classmates. Preparing high school students for college and careers. And you’ll hear about how Statehouse and Capitol Hill politics affect your neighborhood school.

Forum Chair: Jane Suggs

Moderator: Nicole Pantera
