City Club Of Boise: Impact Of COVID-19 On Municipal Budgets

Most of the State of Idaho is in Phase 4 of the “rebound to prosperity” plan to address Covid-19. As a result of the restrictions put in place in the past 5 months, cities and towns are dealing with a variety of financial and fiscal impacts depending on their location, size and number of Covid cases. The City Club of Boise hosted a virtual conversation with the leaders and managers to learn how different areas of the state are managing their resources under threat of coronavirus.

Panelists:

Mayor Rebecca Casper, Idaho Falls

Mayor John Evans, Garden City

Mayor Ron Jacobson, Post Falls

Travis Rothweiler, City Manager, Twin Falls
