YMCA Opens For Summer Camps After Idaho Allows Reopening

YMCA Camp Idaho

It’s easy to forget that when the coronavirus pandemic first disrupted life in Idaho, we were still in the cold season of winter. So much has changed, in the weather, in what we know about the virus, and in how organizations are approaching their work.
For the Treasure Valley YMCA, reopening after a state-wide stay-at-home order includes opening summer camps for kids and families who rely on the experience. Our Morning Edition host George Prentice recently spoke with Dave Duro, the President and CEO of the Treasure Valley YMCA.

As COVID-19 cases spread through the U.S. and Idaho, we’re committed to keeping you updated and informed. You can get updated info on cases, closures and how to stay healthy at any time on our Coronavirus news blog.
