Idaho Matters Reporter Roundtable: August 28, 2020

Katherine Jones
/
Idaho Statesman
Protester Ammon Bundy is arrested by Idaho State Police for the second time at the statehouse this week. Bundy led a 2016 occupation of a wildlife refuged in Oregon.

It was another busy week of news in the Gem State. With a turbulent special session of the Idaho Legislature highlighted by protests and arrests, there's plenty to dissect on the Idaho Matters Reporter Roundtable. We'll learn what bills were passed, which ones weren't and what they mean for you. Plus, we'll learn about an ambitious proposal for the Expo Idaho site (also known as the Western Idaho Fairgrounds).

Our journalist panel today:

  • James Daswon of Boise State Public Radio News
  • Rebecca Boone of the Associated Press
  • Don Day of Boise Dev
