How DOGE cuts could impact Idaho's veteran community

Late last month, President Donald Trump issued an executive order ending collective union bargaining rights for many federal agencies, including Veterans Affairs.

Numerous Idaho federal employees, many of whom work for the VA, aren’t taking this news sitting down.

Chandler Bursey, president of the American Federation of Government Employees, Local 1273, joined Idaho Matters to talk more about this issue and what it means for Idaho veterans.
