NPR Tiny Desk contest returns, drawing Idaho artists into the spotlight

NPR

Every year, thousands of musicians sit down in front of a camera, perform an original song, and submit that video to NPR for a chance to play a Tiny Desk Concert at NPR headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Last year, 22 Idaho musicians entered that contest.

This year’s submission deadline is Monday, Feb. 9, and Tiny Desk judges Ana-Maria Sayre and Robin Hilton joined Idaho Matter to tell us more about the contest.
