And that’s just the veritable tip of the iceberg when it comes to the services these companies provide. They can make our lives easier – but at what cost?
In his book The Four: The Hidden DNA of Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Google, Scott Galloway challenges us to think more deeply about the profound impact these companies have on our personal lives, and on business in America and around the world. He is a professor at New York University’s Stern School of Business, where he teaches brand strategy and digital marketing to second-year MBA students. A serial entrepreneur, he has founded nine firms.
Professor Galloway was elected to the World Economic Forum's “Global Leaders of Tomorrow,” which recognizes 100 individuals under the age of 40 whose accomplishments have had impact on a global level, and in 2012, he was named one of the “World’s 50 Best Business School Professors” by Poets & Quants.
