It’s where stories of our neighbors are told, where our leaders are heard, and where our culture is celebrated. And now, with federal funding gone, it’s you who ensures these voices and stories remain accessible to all.

To thank you for supporting Boise State Public Radio now and in the future, we are giving away several different sweepstakes to local businesses. Call (208) 426-1190 or click here to get entered to win. You won't want to miss our Grand Prize Drawing! 📽️

9 a.m. drawing: Our morning sweepstakes drawing is box tickets to "All is Calm" at the Boise Contemporary Theatre on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 brings this true story to life through the words and songs of the men who lived it. A powerful fusion of historical narrative and a cappella music, the production honors a night when peace won out—if only for a moment. As The New York Times described it, it’s “a beautiful musical recounting of a World War I cease-fire of gifts, poetry, and melody.”

The show, which runs for 75 minutes, starts at 7 p.m. Each box holds up to six people.

5 p.m. drawing: Two lucky winners will get a pair of tickets each to see Ballet Idaho's "The Nutcracker" on Sunday, Dec. 21.

"The glittering anticipation begins as soon as the Boise Philharmonic plays the first overture notes of Tchaikovsky’s beloved score. The audience is swept into a magnificent party at the Stahlbaums’ home, where Clara and her family are celebrating the joy of the season as they await their guests. The mysterious Drosselmeyer brings a life-sized Nutcracker doll, and young Clara is immediately enchanted. When she falls asleep that evening, she is taken on a whimsical adventure through an epic battle with the Mouse King and his army, then to a sparkling snowy forest, and on to the deliciously color-saturated Land of the Sweets. This is a holiday experience to be cherished, year after year."
