Boise native Aaron Paul is up for another primetime Emmy this year. Nominations were announced early Thursday in Los Angeles.
Paul is nominated in the category of 'Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series' for his role as Jesse Pinkman in the AMC series Breaking Bad. Paul won the award in 2010 and 2012. He's now been nominated for five primetime Emmys.
Paul's competition for the award includes John Voight (Ray Donovan), Mandy Patinkin (Homeland), Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), Josh Charles (The Good Wife), and Jim Carter, who plays butler Mr. Carson on the PBS series Downton Abbey.
Breaking Bad received a total of 16 nominations.
The 66th annual primetime Emmy Awards will be announced on NBC August 25.
