ProducerJoel is the co-producer and co-host of You Know The Place, the podcast that explores the local businesses, shops, clubs and pubs you always pass by, but may never take the time to visit.
An early-morning writer, Joel’s fiction and and nonfiction have appeared in The Chattahoochee Review, The Moth and Salon, among other places. He has won the Silver Creek Writer's Residency, the Lamar York Prize and is a Pushcart nominee. He received his BA in English from the University of Montana, served five years of a three-year MFA at Boise State University and is currently studying speech-language pathology at Idaho State University.
When he’s not reading, writing or studying, you can find him caramelizing onions or at The Flicks with friends.
