Every day news stories address the Federal Reserve System, yet many people know very little about "The Fed". Last January, Skip Oppenheimer, Chairman and CEO of the Oppenheimer Companies, Inc, was appointed as Director Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Mr. Oppenheimer will speak to the City Club of Boise concerning the operations, function and purposes of the Federal Reserve Bank System. He will describe his experiences and help the audience to gain a more complete understanding of the various activities of the Federal Reserve System.
