Idaho Artist Local Looks To Community For Latest Project

Hallie Maxwell is a sculptor and mixed media artist from Meridian. Her art examines the human condition of love and suffering.

One of her passions is Japanse American art, and she uses that style to explore her own heritage. In her latest art installation in collaboration with Surel's Placein Garden City, she asks the community to participate in her work. Maxwell spoke with Idaho Matters about the installation, which will be up through mid-March.
