Well, it’s real name is Raks Sharki, but you probably know it as belly dancing. It has its roots and history in Egypt and is more than just tradition, it’s an art form.
The Starbelly Dancers have been recognized by the Idaho Arts Commission, the National Endowment for the Arts and they joined Idaho Matters to teach us a bit about dance.
