Boise State Public Radio's KBSX newsroom has won five regional 2015 Edward R. Murrow Awards.
The Murrow Awards, presented by the Radio Television Digital News Association, RTDNA, announced winners of the regional contestThursday.
Boise State Public Radio's entries were judged alongside entries from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.
"We're very proud to once again have the Boise State Public Radio newsroom recognized for the quality of content it produces," News Director Scott Graf says. "We aim high every day to serve our listeners with thoughtful, responsible and interesting storytelling. It's a great feeling to have our work affirmed by our peer journalists."
Boise State Public Radio General Manager John Hess congratulated the newsroom.
"These awards serve as a reminder of the excellent reporting coming out of our newsroom everyday," Hess said. "The journalists working here at Boise State Public Radio continue to raise the bar of excellence and integrity in news reporting."
