The course is six weeks and will cover the basic obedience commands: watch me, leave it, heal, sit, down, stay, and come. Various training strategies will be covered in the course. The course will utilize the distraction of dogs and people to master the skills. This course is being taught by Denise Baxter. Denise is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, a Pet Partners Evaluator, and an Alliance of Therapy Dogs Tester/Observer. Denise has been teaching dog obedience classes since 1997.
