  • Kaleb is excited and honored to be part of the Boise State Public Radio Community Advisory Board. Kaleb’s undergraduate years were spent in student government, where he had the pleasure of serving as the Student Body President and the President of the Student IMPACT Board for two terms each. Kaleb loves hiking, camping, snowshoeing, and taking the scenic route on road trips. He is a proud Bronco Alum that plans to stay involved with the university for years to come.
  • Mario Pile grew up in Sacramento, California with his parents, seven sisters and two brothers. After graduating from Foothill High School, Mario attended Colorado Technical University where he earned a degree in Criminal Justice. He joined the Air Force in 2002, which eventually brought him to Idaho in the summer of 2006. He has served a total of 18 years in the military; six years active duty and twelve years in the Idaho Air National Guard, for which he is currently serving. He works at Boise State University as an Assistant Director of Development in University Advancement. Mario is happy to have made the Treasure Valley his home and truly enjoys being part of assisting in the creation and future of our youth for a better tomorrow.
  • Maria is a mother of 5. She is an anthropology major and will be working on furthering her studies until she obtains a PhD. Her passion is working with people on environmental issues as well as problems in communities where POC do not obtain necessary resources. She is super excited to see what CAB will be working on for the community and is grateful to be a part of it.

  • Rebecca De León is a Public Relations/Marketing professional who owns and operates Lion Heart Consulting, LLC and works as Communications Manager for Planned Parenthood of the Greater Northwest and Hawaiian Islands. She is also co-founder and co-host of The Latino Card, an independent radio show and podcast about the Latinx community in Idaho and was awarded the Idaho Business Review’s Accomplished Under 40 in 2019. She has nearly 10 years of experience in communications and advocacy, previously working as a journalist. Rebecca is a proud Boise State University alum, and currently lives in Meridian, ID with her husband and son, who is her sunshine.

  • Kristine Bretall started listening to NPR and first became a public radio member in the late 80s in Vermont while attending Middlebury College. Having lived in Boston, Carbondale (Colorado) and now in the Wood River Valley for the past 26 years, NPR and Boise State Public Radio have been a bedrock in her daily life.
