Five Idaho Charter Schools Split $4M In Federal Funds

Five Idaho charter schools were recently awarded with $800,000 in federal funds allowing for the addition of 2,484 new seats for K-12 students. Idaho Matters looks at the growth of charter schools in the region with Bluum CEO Terry Ryan and Sage International School executive director Keith Donahue.

Gemma is the host of Idaho Matters, Boise State Public Radio's daily show which broadcasts live Monday-Friday at noon. She is an award-winning journalist and has spent the majority of her broadcasting career in Idaho. Gemma was a television news anchor and reporter in Boise for close to 15 years.
