  • Boise Mayoral Conversations: Lauren McLean.
  • A new road levy.

- We continue our series on Boise's mayoral race with candidate Lauren McLean. She's served on the Boise City Council for two terms since 2011. Recently McLean has made waves by voicing criticisms of incumbent Mayor Dave Bieter, who appointed her to City Council. She talks with Boise State Public Radio's George Prentice about her campaign and why she thinks she's the best choice for the job.

- Around half of the budget for the Valley County Road Department is set to expire this year due to changes in federal funds distributions. To combat this, a tax levy has been placed on the upcoming ballot to attempt to supplement the lost funds. Idaho Matters discusses the proposal, as well as the consequences if it does not get passed.
