Join us this June for MLD’s Networking BBQ, a special summer gathering designed to bring our professional community together in a fun, relaxed outdoor setting at Discovery Park (2121 E. Lake Hazel Road), at the Red Shelter.
Instead of our usual breakfast meetup, we’re inviting you to bring your friends, family, and colleagues to enjoy great food, sunshine, and community. This casual event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow professionals while introducing your loved ones to the people and programs that make our community strong.
Whether you’re looking to build new relationships, strengthen existing ones, or simply enjoy a summer evening outdoors, this BBQ is the perfect way to mix networking with a little fun in the sun.

Wandercraft is supplying a free craft night hosted by Books on the Vine every Thursday! Join us for a different craft every week, from bookmarks to journals and roses made from pages. Feel free to share ideas too! We also have a craft swap once a month and keep supplies in store to craft on other days!

ABOUT YOUR HOST:
Danica Factor is a local artist based in the Boise area. Her artist journey began in 2018. She started an art practice as a way to heal from childhood emotional trauma and found a deep love for creativity and helping others find their way back to themselves through art.
Danica has showcased her work at a number of art shows in Idaho and is a member of the Art Source Gallery. Her work has also been featured in Arts to Hearts Magazine, Art & Soul of the Magic Valley, the local Channel 7 News and shown at countless exhibits across the state.

This ongoing class is designed for entry-level and experienced students alike, looking for more practice time on the pottery wheel. Experienced clay instructor, Casey Gurr, will offer guided, small-group instruction for anyone interested in learning the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. More advanced students are welcome to use this time to practice what they already know and try new tricks! After creating about 1-3 pieces, we will dry and fire their pieces for them. Most pieces are ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks.
