Algae Blooms Create Hazards In Idaho Lakes And Streams

Blue-green algae is toxic in large quantities, according to the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality.

State officials have issued warnings regarding high blue-green algae content in multiple ponds and lakes throughout Idaho.
