Join Boise State Public Radio For A Gun Policy Forum Tuesday, Feb. 4

Boise State Public Radio

The gun debate in America has been changing quickly, with Democratic presidential candidates embracing new gun control proposals and even some Republicans offering support for certain measures.

On Tuesday, Feb. 4, Boise State Public Radio is hosting “Moving Target: The Shifting Gun Debate In America,” a gun forum moderated by our own Heath Druzin, who reports for the project Guns & America. The event is free and open to the public.

Druzin will be joined by Idaho Rep. Melissa Wintrow (D-Boise) and author and activist Clayton Cramer. Cramer has been an advocate for expanded gun rights while Wintrow has sponsored legislation that would introduce some firearms restrictions.

Druzin joins Idaho Matters ahead of the forum.

Event information:

  • When: Tuesday Feb. 4, 6-8pm
  • Where: Cinder Wines, 107 E. 44th St., Garden City
  • Food and Drink: Drinks will be available and there will be a food truck as well.
