“The Daily” is a five day a week audio show from the New York Times. It’s heard by more than two million listeners each week and carried by more than 200 public radio stations. It began as a podcast that launched after the 2016 election. "The Daily" host Michael Barbaro joined Idaho Matters for a conversation about how his show decides what to cover and how to tell complex human-centered stories in a non-stop news environment.

"The Daily" is played weeknights at 6 p.m. on Boise State Public Radio news.

Gemma is the host of Idaho Matters, Boise State Public Radio's daily show which broadcasts live Monday-Friday at noon. She is an award-winning journalist and has spent the majority of her broadcasting career in Idaho. Gemma was a television news anchor and reporter in Boise for close to 15 years. She came to Boise in 1999 to start Fox 12.
