A new subdivision owned by American Homes 4 Rent is being developed next to Turnberry Crossing in Meridian.

The Mountain West is growing at a rapid rate. We know this firsthand in Idaho, as more and more people move here to experience what the Gem State has to offer.

But with growth comes conflict. The Mountain West News Bureau is exploring this issue in their new podcast called “Facing West.”

Reporter and host Nate Hegyi took a cross-state bike ride earlier this fall, stopping in Idaho to hear from folks who are dealing with these tensions first hand. In this special presenation, Idaho Matters shares an episode of "Facing West."
