As we approach Thanksgiving, many of us are thinking about turkey, and we have questions, like which one to buy, how to thaw it, and the best way to cook it. And just how do you make the perfect mashed potatoes?

Here with some answers is Boise Chef Joyce Doughty, author of the book "The Chef Within," who sat down with our Morning Edition host George Prentice to talk a little turkey.
