It's been six years since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the virus that causes covid continues to evolve and spread. In fact, scientists are keeping a close eye on a new variant of the disease that’s beginning to spread in the United States, including in Idaho.

Dr. David Pate, the former CEO of St. Luke's Health System and the author of the book "Preparing for the Next Global Outbreak," joined Idaho Matters to talk more.
